Moore Library & Information Centre ONLY from 10am to 2pmMonday to Friday, starting September 14, 2020. For all your information needs about this service, please read on!

PROCEDURES

To facilitate a curbside pick-up:

There are two ways to make a request:

  1. Faculty, students, and staff may request items online from UB Libraries by searching the online catalog and placing the item(s) on hold; or
  2. Call the respective library during the designated hours302-4491 (pickup service is only available at HCML at this time). When you call to request materials, you will also schedule a pickup time. Requests made after 1 pm will not be available until the following day.

If you have requested items online, please also schedule pickup online or wait 24 hours before calling the library to set up a pickup appointment.

After making a request you will be notified via email confirming your request and pickup time.

Please have a current UB ID when you call to make requests and when picking up items.

When collecting requested materials from the Harry C. Moore Library & Information Centre, please park in the vicinity of the water feature and call 302-4491 and inform that you are waiting. A member of our staff will bring your items outside to the Checkout table, on the outer porch for you to pick up.

Place your ID in the designated bin for verification. Once your identification is verified, collect your item(s) and ID.

Due date for the return of the book can be found on the inside cover of the book.

Returned items are to be deposited in the book drop located near the entrance facing the B-Block and across from the Student Services Building.
