Liaison Duties

Core liaison duties

  • Serve as a departmental representative: 

    Act as a direct link between the library and assigned academic faculties or departments. 

  • Support faculty and students: 

    Provide research assistance, help with collection development, and support information literacy instruction. 

  • Communicate library services: 

    Inform faculty of new resources, services, and policies through emails and other communications. 

  • Attend departmental meetings: 

    Go to meetings to stay informed about the department's needs and to advocate for library support.
