On August 26th, 2013 at the Harry C. Moore Library and Information Centre (HCML) of the University of The Bahamas, the Sir Lynden O. Pindling Collection was formally opened. Sir Lynden O. Pindling, a former Prime Minister , is widely credited as the architect of the modern Bahamas. The exhibition celebrates Sir Lynden's life through memorabilia, books, documents and relics, honoring 'The Man', 'The Dream' and 'The Moment'. The exhibition also highlights gifts from Heads of State, Masonic Memorabilia, Sir Lynden's desk, chair and typewriter and ball gowns worn by Dame Marguerite Pindling.
